TP-08B High-Performance Bicycle & E-Bike Disc Brake Pads

Restore precise, reliable stopping power with the TP-08B Disc Brake Pads. Formulated for frequent riders, mountain biking, and cross-country terrain, these pads deliver smooth brake modulation, high thermal stability, and low noise across demanding conditions.

Compatible Brake Calipers & E-Bike Models

  • Common Caliper Compatibility (TP-08B Standard): Fits various compact 2-piston mechanical and hydraulic disc brake calipers standard on mountain bikes, recumbents, and e-bikes.

  • Shimano & Tektro Equivalent Fitment: Designed as a replacement pad shape for select entry-level mechanical/hydraulic setups (including models compatible with M355 / M446 style 2-piston standard profiles).

  • Popular E-Bike & E-Scooter Brands: Fits light electric commuters, folding e-bikes, and e-scooters utilizing generic compact disc brake systems (such as select models from Fiido, Kukirin, Samebike, and DYU).

Key Features & Specifications

  • Compound Options: High-friction formulation designed for low thermal attenuation to reduce fade during extended or downhill braking.

  • Off-Road Ready: Specifically created for frequent users requiring consistent performance during cross-country and off-road riding.

  • Compact Dimensions: Pad body dimensions measures approximately 27.5 mm x 18.5 mm with a standard 4.0 mm thickness.

  • Package Includes: 1x Pair (2 pads) of TP-08B brake pads and 1x stainless steel retaining spring.

Installation & Fitting Guidance

  1. Remove the wheel to gain clear access to the brake caliper assembly.

  2. Remove the existing retaining pin or screw, push back the caliper pistons using a piston tool, and slide out the old worn pads.

  3. Clean the brake caliper body and rotor using a proper disc brake cleaner/degreaser; avoid touching the friction surface of the new pads with bare fingers.

  4. Install the new TP-08B pads with the spring, reinsert the securing pin, and test lever feel before riding.

  5. Note: New brake pads may exhibit reduced stopping power during the first few rides until properly bedded in.
